
| Hunts begin on Sunday with general orientation and getting settled in. We will go over the camp rules and what you can expect form the bears in the area. We will then spend some time on the range checking the equipment and getting familiar with the distances of your hunt area. Upon returning we will sit down and discuss shot placement, sex identification how to choose a harvistable animal. Bow hunters may choose to go out on Sunday afternoon but gun hunters must wait until Monday. Your guide will take you out and familiarise you with your area / set-up and will rebait your site. Monday to Friday after a continental breakfast you can relax, fish, target shoot, hike, TV, hunt small game-birds, shop or just hang out. Whatever you like is fine. After lunch we will prepare for the hunt we go out about 2pm and stay out till dusk. Dinner will be prepared when we return to camp. Saturday we will have breakfast and break camp and do paperwork so you can get and export permit for your bear. Your guides will before you arrive have researched and set up your hunting location as per your instructions. (e.g. treestand or ground blind.) Shooting lanes will have been cleared and yardage will be measured. The area will have been baited for a minimum of four weeks prior to your arrival to ensure that the area is very active. Trail Cam photos of hits and times may also be available. Hunt sites are aprox 4 miles from the cabins. The hunting area is accessed by 4X4, ATV, utility vehicle, truck, or boat we will provide transportation to and from your hunt sites. We hunt traditionally in the afternoon until dusk. The biggest bears usually show up as light fades. Hunters wanting to hunt other times may do so as well. We try to customise each vacation to meet the any special needs of our guests we are usually very flexible with requests. |
| The 2010 hunt is priced at $1385.00 US. Licenses and Customs firearms and export permits can be purchased locally and are not included in the purchase price. Accommodations, Meals, Bait and Transportation to and from hunt sites are included. This price is per person. All hunters must be over 18 years of age if they are non-residents. Non hunters are welcome to join. Price upon request. All International hunters must bring an old hunting license from your home state. After booking a package will be sent to you with information on what to bring / what not to bring, sample menu, firearms and custom forms, hunting regulations, Personal information / special request form, camp rules, contract / waiver. The hunt includes the following: Transportation to the hunt camp from Toronto international airport and return to Toronto Transportation to and from bait sites Three meals a day (special meals arranged in advance) Baited, active sites (Blind or tree stand your choice) Roofed Accommodations Guides will help you track and recover your trophy Freezers for game The hunt does not include: Hunting / Fishing licenses Export / Customs Fees Personal gear / Hunting gear Butchering / Shipping of your trophy Alcohol / Skinning and hide prep Tips A Deposit of 33% is due upon booking. The second deposit of 33% is due 60 days prior to your arrival. Final payment balance is due upon arrival in camp. Deposits are non-refundable upon receipt. Payments can be made by Paypal, Cash, International Postal Money order or bank transfer. All hunters must follow the rules and laws set by the Ministry of Natural Resources for Ontario and the Province of Ontario.
